Description

I decided to take a break from planetary nebula and switch back to some galaxy hunting.  NGC 2336 and IC 467 in Camelopardalis are a non-interacting, visual pair of spiral galaxies, in a constellation named for a giraffe. NGC 2336 is the barred, semi-face-on spiral at the right and was discovered by Ernst Wilhelm Leberecht Tempel in 1867. IC 467, at the left is also a spiral, albeit somewhat irregular. Both galaxies are 100 million light years from Earth

Description: Busy dodging clouds so I'm continuing to go back and revisit old data with Russ Croman's BXT AI4 and a bit more processing experience under my belt.
