Description

I wanted to take advantage of the full moon and quickly capture our natural satellite while also experimenting with lunar processing to capture both the moon's natural and mineral colors. The first-time processing of this data has been quite interesting.

My respects to the lunar and planetary astrophotographers. I would like to continue practicing in the future with more shots of the moon and subsequently the planets.

The Astro Pixel Processor and PixInsight are helping me to update and improve my astrophotography workflow, even if this data won't be available for a while. I appreciate your support and patience. At the end of the month, I intend to post several photographs using this new approach.
