I have been interested in astronomy for about 40 years. For the past 4 or 5 years, I have gotten increasingly into astrophotography, both deep sky and solar. I live near Houston, Texas but built a future retirement home and roll-off observatory (7150' elevation) in the Sacramento Mountains of southern New Mexico near Cloudcroft.
Retirement has now happened for me (April 2016) and I hope to spend more time doing the things I love such as astrophotography.
