I'm based in the UK and finally started astrophotography during Covid, having had a telescope of some sort since a teenager. I now have rigs based in Wiltshire and in Kent, but like to get out to darker sites. Some of my best shots have been from Cyprus, where I visit family once or twice a year. My William Optics GT71 fits in a cabin bag, and my ZWO AM5 mount head fits under the seat, with the tripod in the hold luggage. It raises eyebrows at security but they let me through...
