My name is Yuri. I'm from Russia.
When I was 10, I fell in love with astronomy. I wanted to photograph the stars. I had a primitive film camera. Using it, I get my first photos of the sky. Since then, many years have passed and many things have changed. And now I'm back to my dream. But on another level.

Now I'm learning to capture the photons traveling in the infinite space for millions of years. Then, using software to turn them into pictures. On them we see the Cosmos in which we live and of which we know so little. Of course, now it is the usual process. But I think it's awesome! And it is a miracle of transformation never ceases to amaze me!

As for my astrophotos.
Astrophotography is a very broad field of knowledge. I'm just learning and looking for my style. But in general I try to use less noise reduction and unnaturally saturated colors. I strive for balanced, natural pictures. Nevertheless, I am open to new ideas in the receipt and processing of images.
