Always loved science from a young age, then got handed the one book that changed me forever! : "Travellers in Space and Time" by Patrick Moore. Silent reading after 'little lunch' as 11yo. Halley's Comet and Voyager 2 at Uranus (yeah I was hoping for surface features, and got dissed! - at least for the planet itself at the time). What a comeback in 1989 at Neptune!!!! - and Triton with the hard trajectory the craft took over Neptune's north pole. Yep, gutsy move there! Later in life I got into landscape photography (inspired by my old man). In 2011, we made the 2000km road trek to catch the total eclipse in Cairns. Bought an AstroTrac TT320X-AG for the event. One bracket, two cams - Dad with a Nikon D300+400mm and me with a Canon 600D+400mm (70-200+2xTC). I have been using the AstroTrac TT320X-AG for tracking ever since. Just got better at polar alignment :)
