I was first introduced into astrophotography by my husband, Dustin. Every night we would come home, I would stare into space in awe. In an effort to thoughtfully inspire some of my artwork, he purchased a used 12" SkyWatcher from Craigslist. The first night we woke up at 3am to see Saturn, we were both hooked.
I lost interest in observational astronomy. It wasn't until we purchased another used scope, this time a refractor (152 ACRO ExploreScientific) and attached our DSLR that I really started to enjoy being able to document the experience.
