I live near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I have a very patient wife and two (older) children who are also interested in astronomy. My kids and I are also huge fans of the Bortle 2 skies in Cherry Springs State Park, Pennsylvania.

I am still learning about this hobby and my equipment is rather limited when compared to many of the more serious photographers. That being said, if I find myself still dragging the equipment out every 3 to 5 weeks to do some imaging, I am likely to be upgrading my equipment over time.
