I have been into spaceflight and astronomy since I was a small child. In the early 2000s I decided to make the transition from armchair astronomer to getting behind a telescope. I have since that time built my own private observatory in the country and I am working on telescope automation and contributing to the scientific community.

In my daily life I am a second generation member of the NASA family. I have worked in NASA manned space flight programs since 2000 (Space Shuttle, ISS, and Artemis Gateway (moon space station). My passion is spacecraft flight operations. I was a flight control specialist for the ISS electrical and thermal control systems for 8 years and worked several joint STS/ISS assembly missions. I'm currently a part-time commercial space mission director for Northrop Grumman and work full-time on the development of the Artemis Gateway.
