i'm a long time visual amateur going back to the 1970's (I'm 75). I've been using a Tak EM-200 mount, a Mewlon-250 and a TV-85 for the past 20 years. I started astrophotography about 5 years ago with an unguided DSLR camera using the TV-85 on the EM-200. I upgraded to a mono ATIK One 9.0 camera a few years ago, again using the TV-85 on the EM-200. In January 2023 I upgraded to a portable rig; WO Redcat 71, on a ZWO AM5 mount, ZWO EAF, ZWO ASI533MC Pro, and ASIAIR Plus. That EM-200 is a wonderful mount, but it gets heavier each year! I'm fortunate to live under Bortle 2-3 skies with very little light pollution.
