I have been an avid amateur astronomer since I was a young boy. I spent 6 years in the Army and saw plenty of dark skies. Several years ago I moved from TX to AZ, which has re-ignited my passion for this hobby (Houston had nothing but Cloudy Nights--literally!). The skies here in Arizona are truly amazing. While I have spent many years doing visual observing, I only started doing astrophotography after moving to this wonderful region of the country. And I am loving it!

I am currently a member of the WVAC, EVAC, and PAS astronomy clubs. Hope to see you all out at a dark sky location.
