Description

Hint - it's a very tight crop of area near a really famous target.   If you guess correctly you'll have Astrobin bragging rights 😀  The big reveal will be in a day or two with my next post.

From the first time I saw the famous Hubble image "the pillars of creation", (way before I got into this avocation), I was attracted to their beauty and majesty.  Since then, I pay special attention to pillars of gases in our images with great delight.  I particularly like the fog of gas burning off their edges by ultraviolet light from massive newborn stars.  I try to comprehend that some of these pillars are light years in height.

Have fun always,
john

PS yeah I like blue clouds
