Description

IC5070 - Pelican Nebula in Hubble palette + LRGB stars
I had a stretch of clear sky nights. Though the target rises late in the night, I decided to collect 3 hours data every night and ended up with an image close to 20 hours
I adjusted the palette to my taste. It's very colorful, but I liked it and decided to stop the editing much earlier than I estimated.
Hope you like it!

Pixinsight Processing steps
1. S, H, O Separate processing

DBE -> StarXterminator ->  BlurXterminator -> NoiseXterminator -> EZ Stretch (mild) -> GeneralizedHyperbolicStretch (strong) -> EZHDR (if necessary)

2. SHO Image processing
ChannelCombination -> Extract Luminance Layer -> Mild Sharpen (UnsharpMask) / MLT
-> Denoise SHO Layer -> Add back Luminance (LRGBCombination) -> Curves Transformation with multiple masks
3. Stars
Linearfit RG images to B -> ImageSolver + SPCC -> RepairedHSVseparation -> Masked Stretch RGB channel -> Masked Stretch LRGB Channel  -> StarXterminator (With Starmask generator checked + Unscreen Mask)

4. Add stars to SHO image
formula: ~((~$T)*(~LRGB_Stars))
