Description

This represents my first attempt at using PixInsight's HDR capabilities.

I actually shot this as LRGB + Ha, but in processing it, I felt that the Lum and Ha blew out the Trapezium far too much, so I wound up just going with RGB instead.

Still seeing some donuts around bright stars - probably a consequence of my (lack of) processing skills.

Description: Much better stars - no more dark halos, and a far better Trapezium.

For this revision, I applied BlurXTerminator at the very start of my flow, to my channel-combined linear image (as opposed to the very end of the process, after I was done with all of my various edits). Furthermore, I applied NoiseXTerminator just once as the final step in my flow (as opposed to multiple times throughout).

It helps to read the instructions provided by the process' author ... :)
