Description

A large planetary nebula (around 20 arcmins), discovered in 1983 by Ronald Weinberger, J. Dengel, Herbert Hartl and Franco Sabbadin. Often (incorrectly) referred to as WeDe 1. Discovery article can be found here.

Not many images of WDHS 1 exist and I am not aware of any picking up the very weak Oiii signal - it took 21h @ f/2 in order to see it.
