      Description

I have been sitting on this data for more than a month.  I had made a change to the framing half way through acquisition, and wanted to get more data in all of the filters to accommodate the change.  However, bad weather, camera issues, and other target priorities conspired against gathering more data.  So I just wanted to process what I had and see if it would look ok.  Even though it wasn't super deep on the broad band filters, and I had not even shot any Lum, the prolific dust in the area really showed up anyway.  I had some Ha, but when I did continuum subtraction there wasn't much left, so I left it out.  The Oiii continuum did work well, although I would like to get more of it next year.

This is the first image that I have posted where I used Photoshop to do the screen blending of the NB data along with some localized enhancements that are difficult to do in PI.  I subscribed to Bray Falls excellent tutorials to help accelerate that process.  I had used Photoshop a great deal on terrestrial images, but I needed a little "assistance" from Bray's teachings to get back into the use of PS for astroimages.  I do really like the local control and non-destructive adjustment nature of PS, but PI still rules in my mind for most of the global processing.
