Description

This image was taken over two nights in mid-March with an ASI2600mm Pro through a Celestron 8" EdgeHD on an EQ6-R Pro.

The image comprises:

L:     73 x 60s
R:    30 x 60s
G:    30 x 60s
B:    30 x 60s

Total integration time was two hours and 43 minutes. The image was processed in Pixinsight and tweaked in Photoshop.

Arizona has been on the receiving end of inclement weather from California. This winter has been quite wet and cloudy, allowing for only limited opportunities for imaging. In the name of expediency (and to make the most use of the few nights I've been able to actually do any imaging), I've stuck to brighter objects so I could use lower total exposure times. Hopefully, the siege of bad weather will pass by the end of this month.
