Description

The red nebula on the right is part of Barnhard's Loop, that encircles much of the left side of Orion.  It is an emission nebula, part of the Orion molecular cloud complex, some 518 light years away..  To the left is M78, also known as NGC2068.  The blue is from two bright B-type stars that make the cloud of dust visible by reflecting their light. It's about 1,350 light years distant.
