Description

The Eagle Nebula, also known as M16, is a fascinating cosmic structure located in the Serpens constellation. It is approximately 7000 light-years away from Earth. Within it are the famous "Pillars of Creation", gigantic towers of molecular gas and cosmic dust, which are the birthplaces of new stars. The Eagle Nebula has been studied in detail by the Hubble Space Telescope, and its images have become some of the most recognizable in the field of astronomy.
