Qualche giorno prima ho saputo di questa congiunzione visibile al mattino durante il crepuscolo. Il 17/09/2017 i pianeti Marte e Mercurio erano più vicini, ma ho scelto la data successiva perchè nella foto avrei potuto inquadrare anche la Luna che aveva occultato la stella Regolo (alfa Leonis) fino a qualche minuto prima.
Sono stato fortunato perchè in altre parti della provincia di Catania qualche nuvola ha nascosto questa congiunzione, mentre dal mo sito ho avuto il tempo di scattare alcune foto prima che nubi alte e velature arrivassero.
E' stato molto bello ammirare questa congiunzione durante il crepuscolo mattutino e notare come la Luna si allontanasse dalla stella Regolo con il passare dei minuti. Strana cosa è stata non riuscire a scorgere facilmante Marte ad occhio nudo.

A few days before I knew of this conjunction visible in the morning during the twilight.
On 09-17-2017 the Mars and Mercury planets were closer, but I chose the next date because in the photo I could have framed the Moon that had hidden the star Regolo (alpha Leonis) until a few minutes before.
I was lucky because in other parts of the province of Catania some clouds have hidden this conjunction, while from my site I had time to take some shots before high and thick clouds arrived.
It was very nice to admire this conjunction during the morning twilight and notice how the Moon moved away from Regolo with the passing of the minutes. Strange thing that has been unable to see lightweight Mars with a naked eye.
