Description

After a break of a few years, the mind began to wander into the void that is full of beauty, i.e. space. As far as I can tell, this spiral does not have a special name, but is only cataloged as M100. The galaxy is about 55 million light-years away from us in Virgo cluster. Editing was painful to remember after few years, but I guess  this picture tells the essentials, even if it is not a masterpiece. I photographed this target in March 2020 already, but like mentioned, the data has been waiting in my hard drive.

Picture specs are: abt 25 X 300 sec each LRGB filter, so aprox 8 and a half hours light.
