Description

Hi Starfriends,

Solar Eclipse on Jupiter.
Last night Jupiter's moon "Io" passed its shadow over the surface of Jupiter. At the end of the eclipse The Great Red Spot (GRS) also appeared.

The 5x Powermate was perhaps a bit too much. The 2x Barlow not enough. I then stayed with the 5x and reduced the resolution by half.
That was an eventful evening. Best sky but very humid. At 22:31 CEST the eclipse began. I haven't evaluated the recordings yet.
At the end it got exciting again. Io broke off the surface and The Great Red Spot (GRS) was in good position. Jupiter gave me everything, it was nice to keep up with Jupiter again.
