Description

I alway have thought the Wizard Nebula (a good name for it) was kind of boring, so my goal was to make it interesting by bringing out the dark dust veins and the pillars.  Yeah I processed bold...again 🤪 as can't help myself...maybe someday I'll  be more reasonable in my processing.   A SHO with RGB star image where I found I liked 50% green.  I'm not happy at all with the stars so don't pixel peek.  and then in bringing out the nebula, I lost the open cluster (NGC7380), but no time to start over on processing...in fact I'll be out of the loop for at least a week.  As far as nebulas go this one if fairly small, hence I used my 9.25Edge.  About the size of a full moon, it's 7.5LY's away. So far cloudy and hot here on the new moon...go figure!  -john
