      Description

      Lovely pair of interacting galaxies NGC 4627 and NC 4631. The upper elliptical galaxy has distorted the edge on spiral NGC 4631 to give a very passable image of a whale.

      I have provided two images - one with Halpha, one without.

      As you can see, the Ha data brings out the emission regions at the edge of the galaxy rather nicely.
