When planning the image framing for this composition, my aim was not to show the silhouette of the Lion itself, but I wanted to place the H region on opposition to the O region and play with color contrast.
In the beginning, I planned to replace the stars by the real colors from the RGB subs to get the real colors, but did not succeed. Still something to learn. ;)
This is the first image taken witch the 0.66 PlaneWave reducer for the CDK, which brings the scope to F 4.6. In combination with the full frame sensor of the ASI6200 you achieve a huge FOV - but also some vignetting, though the CDK 14" delivers a 70mm usable image circle.
In the end, this image was real fun to process. Little to no noise. :)
