Description

September 2023 Sii data and RGB stars are added here to Ha-Oiii recordings taken on October 2022.
As shown in the picture below, the Sii signal returns a completely different image than the Ha, that gives increased color saturation and dynamic to the SHO composition.
The stars RGB data was taken in 2022, yet never used before.

The Heart Nebula (Running Dog Nebula, IC 1805, Sh2-190) is an emission nebula, 7500 light years away from Earth and located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. The nebula morphology and emission is shaped by the radiation emanating from a small open cluster of stars, known as Collinder 26 or Melotte 15, that contains a few bright stars nearly 50 times the mass of the Sun, and many more dim stars that are only a fraction of the Sun's mass.
