Description

The phase was right to image Tycho so I took a shot at it with my new Mac-native capture setup using the Logitech c270 HD camera and BTV/Webcam Settings. It turned out OK, especially given this was not what I was really intending to image that night.

Stacking: PIPP (Wine); Registax 6 (VMWare), best 80 frames of about 1200

Processing: Wavelets in Registax 6 (“Recommended” settings with linked wavelets); CS6 Astronomy Tools AstroFrame.
