Description

Repeating one more of the Sharpless2 Group to see what my new CMOS system can find with a deeper look at the H-alpha here....  I tried various enhancements to increased the sense of 3D here, but this is how it came out of the GHS box.  A lot of natural texture for 2.5 h.

Previous version of SH2 137.  This is with an ATRC10 and 11h on the CCD.

From GalaxyMap:

This HII region lies at a similar direction and distance as the Cepheus Bubble, a huge expanding shell of gas and dust surrounding the Cep OB2 association.

Avedisova identifies 5 ionising stars. The hottest of these is the O9.5 II multiple giant HD 207198.
