Description

The Bubble Nebula is found in the constellation Cassiopeia. NGC 7635 or Caldwell 11. It is a H2 emission nebula with a central star SAO 20575 which is pushing out stellar wind from this 8.7 magnitude star. The result is the bubble formed from the near by molecular cloud illuminated by the central star ( SAO 20575 ) . This nebula is 7100 - 11000 light years distant. I captured this over two nights at the Merritt Star quest in British Columbia Canada. at the end of the second night temperature was -6 c and the frost covered my computer screen and the filter wheel stopped working after it froze still.
