Description

IC-410 is a faint emission nebula shown in the lower left portion of the image. Zooming in on this part of the image, and looking in the upper left of this detailed area, you may be able to make out the 2 "tadpoles" that live in this area. IC-410 is about 1500 light years from earth.

IC-405, known as the Flaming Star Nebula, is in the upper right. It is an emission and reflection nebula, about 10,000 light years from earth.

These nebulae can be found in the constellation Auriga.
