Description

This image shows the region from the Statue of Liberty Nebula to the Wishing Well Cluster, highlighting the areas of Hydrogen Alpha (Ha) and Double-ionised Oxygen (Oiii)

Captured over two nights under Bortle 4 sky I used my ASI1600MM Pro with Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 Sports lens 250mm at F/3.5 2 minute subs Gain 139 for Ha and the same combination but at F/5.0 2 minute subs at Gain 0 for the Red, Green and Blue and also Oiii. (the Oiii was meant to be captured at F/3.5 as well but its too hard to change the F-stop - its was late and cold and I was tired)

Data acquisition in SGP, telescope control via Stellarium, Stellarium Scope & EQMOD, PHD2 using the latest multi-star guiding option.

Stacked & initial processing in AstroPixelProcesser , Ha and Oiii made starless using Starnet via PixInsight.

RGB, Ha and Oiii layers blended in Photoshop - because I havent gotten that far in my Pixinsight learning :-)
