Description

This image is a combination of data that I acquired in 2018 and 2019. Both sets were taken with the same camera and the same telescope at the same focal length. The data set from 2018 was taken under a bright moon as a test image for a new reducer that I had purchased for the FSQ-106. The data set from 2019 was taken under darker skies.

The sub-exposure length was different for the two sets; 240 sec. for the 2018 set and 270 sec. for the 2019 set.

I used PixInsight's Local Normalization tool to evaluate and normalize the 2018 data to the 2019 data. All images were then combined using PixInsight's Drizzle Integration feature.
