Description

IC 1805/Sh2-190, also known as the Heart Nebula,  is a huge Ha rich nebula located ~7,500 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia.  A number of other objects are immediately adjacent to IC1805 including the Fish Head Nebula (IC1795) and NGC896,  as well as a large area of gas that radiates from the open cluster (Melotte 15) at the core of the Heart Nebula.

This is my deepest D1 (dual band filter) nebula integration to date, and I am pleased with the results in this capture.
