Description

The Vela Supernova Remnant is a supernova remnant in the southern constellation Vela. The supernova exploded approximately 11,000 years ago.
The Vela Supernova Remnant includes the NGC 2736 (also known as the Pencil Nebula), which has formed from the shock wave of the larger Vela Supernova Remnant.
Just above the Pencil Nebula, it is possible to see a "rainbow" that made me think that my telescope had some problems. However, after checking a couple of images at Astrobin, I realized that it is just part of this amazing object.
This is a nice object and I have been planning to make it for some time, but the weather has never collaborated before.
So, for two nights (06 and 07/01) I was at a guesthouse located in Munhoz - Brazil, And I was blessed with 2 clear nights.
The processing was also challenging, its variety of colors and details make the application of any automatized process or filter impossible.

I hope you enjoyed it.
Clear skies.
