Description

This image captures a dark nebulae complex located in the constellation of Cepheus at a latitude of +59 degrees. As shown on the annotated image in yellow text, the dark nebulae are Barnard 169, 170, 171 and 174.

In blue text on the annotated image, I have labelled several YSO (young stellar) and HH (Herbig-Haro) objects. These objects are faint and tough to see in my image.

Part of Sh2-134 is seen as the pink region in the lower left region of the image. In the very lower left corner are some artifacts from the bright star Zeta Cephei, which is just off image. This 3.3 magnitude star is 3600 times more luminous than our sun.
