I'am following my last weeks publication of my "special Cocoon" with my dual setup, wich was the Ha of it through one scope of my dual setup
A special Cocoon NebulaThis time I will show you the RGB-part which was taken with the 130PDS and the ASI294mc.
I did 60 sec exposure as I don't wanted to burn out the stars too much and add the result to this starless Ha-version
A special Cocoon NebulaGetting the RGB-result was very disappointing, I have to say. I had to ditch more than 50% of all subs due to significant qualitiy changes between all sessions. My second session was wasted time. I am still investigating the reasons, as the Ha-data did not had that issue, so I might want to exclude any external conditions. I've used all subs with FWHD <3 for this.
Even that I am happy about the result, both stars and nebula, given the fact, that the aperture is much smaller and f/5 is not really fast, too.
Compared to the Ha the signal seems to be much weaker which may cause some trouble when I combine those two. Cross your fingers for me, as this is my first try and I am not known as a good postprocessor
