Description

Nice open cluster, some times called string of pearls, and the nice little planetary nebula, the WRAY 17-31, also known as NGC_2899, or GUM 27, etc. Also the bright yellow star, N-Vela has some distinction, it is a variable star. The planetary nebula is also known as the Butterfly.
