Description

As expected I am fairly busy lately, hence not much time for processing left in the evenings. I actually started with a different image that was still on my hard disk to process, but this one needs more attention than I currently have. I hope I will get it done one day, a nail biter.

So I went for the supposedly easier target Abell 35, well well ... that was not much easier. This PN is very dim, and I was glad that I had at least 13 hours worth of data to get a bit more out of the raw images. I had to push quite a lot to make it visible the way it is right now, might be a bit too much for this amount of data, but at least I can show the surrounding Hα structures. The O channel of this PN is fairly strong, so that helped. This target is also fairly low for me at the horizon, hence I had to aim multiple nights in May at it, and of course, into the most light polluted area of the sky, hence I assigned Bortle 7 to this image.

I still have some new data to process but will not be able to do this before my trip to Germany, in the meantime you all have a wonderful time, stay safe and show off your skills in Astro Photography!!
