After months of waiting for clear sky, I had a chance to test my new refractor TS 130 Photoline.
Here's the first 7 hours of light captured by this scope.
Overall, the scope hasn't disappointed me.
However, the focuser sag is notorious. The backfocus isn't at the right spot.
About the image, they were captured under bortle 7 skies on night with average seeing.
The guiding had issues due to wind gushes. And I was not ready to throw away the frames affected by bad guiding as well. (I hardly get clear skies)
And finally, I made a mistake by not capturing 'Green' channel. Instead of waiting to capture more green data, I decided to work around it in processing and I am not unhappy with the results.
Update - Added 30 minutes of green channel. but that was 30 minutes of bin1 which is still not good as R and B channel.
Learning - 120 seconds subs on 294MM and broadband filters is not a good idea. The stars and the galaxy core look blown.
