Finally some clear skies for multiple nights in Northern Florida, and all components of the rig setup correctly. I targeted multiple objects during those nights, and while I was waiting for one I took as many 2 minute exposures of NGC 281. I took this famous nebula for several reasons, one of them to see the difference between my previous attempt using my 6" achro and the ASI 1600 and compare it with the new gear using the ASI 6200. I also chose on purpose 2 minute exposures to see if I can show finer details. This was inspired by Johny's fantastic image (

Well, I certainly cannot achieve this level of excellence, but I am pretty happy with the result. I was worried that I could not get enough signal together (hence choosing a brighter nebula), but evidently it was enough to extract most of it. The later target in the night after the Pacman needed 10 minute exposures, what a difference (tried 5 min first and found almost no signal).
