Description

Yes, it's the most photographed object in the night sky! I tried too shoot this narrowband, which was questionable. There's no Oxygen-III in Horsehead. S-II does add a little to the dominant Hydrogen-alpha. I've got some nasty reflections from the star Alnitak, but not sure why.

1. WeightedBatchProcessing, Subframe Selector, Star Alignment, Local Normalization, Image Integration, Drizzle Integration, Dynamic Crop

2. Dynamic Background Extraction

3. EZ Decon on Ha

4. EZ Denoise

5. EZ Soft Stretch

6. PixelMath to create RGB with R: Ha; G: 1-((1-0.25*Ha)*(1-SII)); B: 1-((1-0.5*Ha)*(1-OIII))

7. SCNR to remove green tint

8. Duplicate Ha to create L, and apply CurvesTransformation to increase some local contrast

9. LRGBCombination to apply L to the RGB image

10. Curves Transformation

11. Clone Stamp to fix upper star, that was wrecked during deconvolution!

12. EZ Star Reduce

13. Topaz DeNoise AI
