First Light ZWO ASI 6200M Sh2 155 Tests of Flats with Bias versus Darks and Multiple Shot Equivalence

Revision title: Modified Hubble HOS Version

Thanks to Jerry, Garry and Jon here we are with my new camera... going over to CMOS...

This is uncropped, denoised by Topaz and slightly stretched.

I am VERY happy.

The processing was just routine PI WBPP... default settings.

There is a ?reflexion artifact in the upper left. Jon believe that is an off chip star that could be fixed with better flocking of the spacers.

On CCDInspector there is a slight tilt in Y. Last image was in the X direction so I think the tilt is minimal.

Anyway, there seems to be a future for this camera!

The tests are trying to determine what the best settings are for flat collection. I tried two average ADU settings 25k and 30k against two control subtractions bias versus darks.

At the end of the day, I think the 25k bias have it,at least for simplicity, but I need to do some measurements.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.

Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
