Description

Also known as Caldwell 7, NGC 2403 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Camelopardalis at a distance of about 8 million light-years away. NGC 2404 is also seen in this image and is the large H II region located at about the 10 o’clock position. It is one of the largest H II regions known.
