This is my first post here and I hope this theme has not already been dealt with (I could not find the Search Forum feature).  I have a 6" F5 Newtonian and a Canon 800D DSLR (no mount yet but I'm looking for one).  I'm in Europe.

I downloaded NINA recently and was very impressed by all the features.  I wondered if APT was more effective and easy to use?  What do you reckon?  Thank you!

Welcome! I've been using NINA for about a year now (coming from SGP) and am extremely pleased with not only the software but also how great the community has been over on their discord server for helping people get up and running, testing out new features, and just overall sharing tips and tricks. I can't speak for APT but certainly give it a try and see what works best for your taste.  Looking forward to seeing your work!

Thank you Jonathan.  I spent some time with NINA yesterday and it connects to my gear without problems so I will keep at it for the time being and see how it behaves under the stars.
