Hi,
Does anybody of you use this combination of the Baader UFC (Universal Filter Changer) and a Baader Wide-T-Ring D52i to T-2 and S52 ?
Trying to find out what exact parts I would need to make this combination to work with my Nikon Z6. And if I need any additional parts due to having a WO Redcat?

Can you provide your camera and scope backfocus. also, what is the tickness of the t-ring.
i use the ufc for my rasa, i may be able to help you, but i need the specs.

r A Nikon Z6 has a flange of 16mm, and WO Redcat has its backfocus on 59.7mm. The thickness would be 8.3mm on the Wide-T2 ring (S52). An addition would be a 15mm extender tube to move the camera farther away from the telescope, according to PrimaluceLab.

59.7 mm scope backfocus The BaaderUFC is 13 mm thick. T2 ring is 8.3 mm
Baader + tring = 21.3 mm
59.7 mm - 21.3 = 38.4 mm
Not sure what your camera backfocus is? 16 mm
38.4. - 16 mm = 22.4 mm
if i understand your configuration correctly, it looks like you may need an additional 22.4 mm extender/adapter. Now, Miska, do your own calculation, as i do not want to take ownership of your issue. At a minimum, you can ask Baader Planetarium/ or your adapter provider and they will kindly help you and provide the required adapters and distances + backfocus.

I guess my astro store is adding another 5mm extender along with the 15mm in the package deal for me. So there will be a 20mm addition to that calculation of yours and the leftovers should be manageable with the focuser on the telescope!?

How will you attach the ufc to the telescope? you need an adapter on the camera side and you may need another on the scope side.
for example, if your scope is M42 male, you will have to order a M42 female baader adapter that will screw on the ufc filter drawer.

Nah, thinking of getting a Baader UHC-S filter to start with. Kinda live in a country with 89% light pollution and the only places that don't have LP are the mountains and few National Parks up north.
