Description

I decided to go for something different on this image, so I actually used a good old broadband blue filter for the the blue channel. There is actually quite a bit of "blue" data in this object, much of which can likely be attributed to the intense OIII (captured by the broadband blue filter) and possibly some H-beta emission. This was initially a narrowband "test" image for my new homemade 10-inch imaging Newtonian. As with most new setups, the imaging session was plagued with thin, high clouds, a bright moon, and problems...the seeing got absolutely atrocious before being totally socked in by clouds during the blue set. I had planned on gathering more data before processing, however, it has been solid overcast for the past 10 days or so here. So, I eventually figured what the heck, let's process this thing and at least see what we have here. Enjoy, and as always, comments are welcomed.
