Description

Nov 8th, 2020 - Multiple Asteroids

The second day I was capturing color data of the same object NGC1333 using ASI1600MC and EdgeHD 9.25" Hyperstar, I new I will find the same asteroid that I did the day before using ASI183MM but to my surprise I actually found (4) asteroids, I need to give credit to Gordon Hansen from Plymouth Astrophotography group for his huge help in recognizing those asteroids for me.

The asteroids are:

(88462) 2001 QM99 - Mag: 16.39

(15218) 1981 EO41 - Mag: 17.42

(610) Valeska - Mag: 15.67

(70199) 1999 RL22 - Mag:17.42

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, in my case I created a video were all (4) asteroids are labels and shows their path, again this was captured on the Night of Nov 8th from 8:43PM until 4:59AM, I am not 100% sure if this is science but I think it is very cool and extremely lucky. Hope you like it.

Here is more update, when I used this software (Tycho-tracker) to detect more asteroids I managed to find the following:

https://www.tycho-tracker.com/

(49524) 1999 CJ39 - Mag: 18.55

(42973) 1999 TU184 - Mag: 18.20

(410637) 2008 RU67 - Mag: 19.06

(425502) 2009 RK43 - Mag: 19.08
