Description

The Grus Quartet is a 4 galaxy pairing in Grus.  Grus 7582 is the nice barred spiral offset from the others.   It is ~70 million light-years distant, with a diameter of 100K light-years.    The other closer galaxies (NGC 7552, NGC 7599, NGC 7590) are ~60 million light-years distant, and smaller (< 75K diameter).     There are quite a few much fainter fuzzies in the field at much greater distance.

This is a LOW target for northern observers!    It only rises 16 degrees at the southern AZ CAC site where this data was collected.
