Description

This rarely imaged faint object is located in the constellation of Pegasus at a declination of +15 degrees. This is one of the unusual Sharpless objects that looks like a molecular cloud instead of a HII region.

The bright star is Markab.  Also known as alf Peg, it is a magnitude 2.5 blue star.
