Description

The tulip nebula (Sharpless 101) is a bright H II region emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus.

This is the companion shot to the mid field capture done at the same time which also uses both of my Askar Colourmagic dualband filters (D1 - Ha & Oiii + D2 Oiii & Si) to create a narrowband image using a OSC camera.

Switching filters in the dark between scopes and filter drawers is getting a bit tedious and nerve racking for fear of one slipping out of my hand and hitting the concrete,  so I'm thinking it might be time to take another step towards pure narrow band imagining by starting to employ filter wheels as a next step along that journey.
